Peugeot 3008 shock absorber

This one was a few visits trying to find the source of a noise the customer had. Initially the suspension inspection yielded no symptoms at all. had a light noise occasionally. I advised the strut to be stripped and inspected. I bought a new shock with me anyway as I had a gut feeling it would be that. on removal and strip on the shock it was clear this was the fault. New shock absorber fitted noise gone 👍🏼 Happy days
