Customer requested hand brake cables to be replace. Halfway through the repair it was obvious that this was just half the problem. this vehicle has both a disc and drum set up on the rear and the handbrake shoe mechanism had seized and shoes were worn also, managed to get the mechanism sorted and put it back together with a functioning parking brake. will need another visit to replace parking brake shoes.
