Here I have 4 examples of the various tools I use to diagnose some types of faults with your vehicle
This tool above is called VCDS also known as VAG-COM diagnostic system. This is a 3rd party laptop based platform for Volkswagen group vehicles.
The above is a dealer level tool called tech 2 and is used for GM based Vauxhalls up to approx 2014 model year.
This is also a dealer level tool used for most model year 2014+ on the newer GM platforms for Vauxhall vehicles.
This is the newest addition to the tool kit. It’s an all brand scan tool from snap-on. Im really impressed with it . unlike the other tools is not laptop based and is really handy for a quick trouble code scan or to view data and it can turn off service lights too!
